Offers and discounts

Before and after price, the offer window, and what the customer sees.

An offer is a discount on a dish you already have. It does not create a new one. You enter the price after the discount and the price before it; your page prints the new price with the old one struck through beside it, and we work out the saving from the two.

  1. In the Aloke Owners app, open «Your menu» from the home screen, then «Deals». (iPhone and iPad, Android)
«Deals»: discounts and limited offers on the menu.

  6. You can also put an offer price on any dish from inside its own details. It must be below the menu price, and the dish is then tagged as an offer.

Live now
The offer is inside its window and the customer sees both prices.
No window
No start and no end. It runs until you remove it yourself.
Starts on…
Outside its window your page shows the ordinary price, with no strike-through and no offer name.
Ended on…
The same, your page has gone back to the ordinary price on its own. That is deliberate: it stops a price you no longer honour sitting on your menu.
Will not save
When the «before» price is equal to the «after» price or lower than it. The offer does not save and nothing prints struck through on your page, because a discount that saves nothing is not a discount.
