Special periods: Ramadan, Eid, renovation

Temporary hours that replace the normal week, with a start and an end.

Saudi opening hours change more than once a year: Ramadan, the two Eids, National Day, a refit. A special period is a set of temporary hours with a start and an end date; it takes over from your normal week when it starts and hands back on its own when it finishes, with no console visit and nothing to remember.

  1. In the Aloke Owners app, open «Your business» from the home screen, then «Opening hours». (iPhone and iPad, Android)
«Opening hours»: when your door is open, day by day.

Ramadan
The ready-made label your customer sees. It usually goes with hours starting after sunset, and a shift past midnight is handled correctly.
Eid al-Fitr · Eid al-Adha
Short days, or closed ones. Set them a week ahead and forget them.
National Day
Usually a single day on different hours.
Renovation
Pair it with «Closed for the whole period». Your page tells the customer you are shut and says why, instead of letting them find a locked door.
Holiday
For any other break that has no ready name.
