Franchises: invite a franchisee and manage the terms

You run a branch; a franchisee runs a franchise location with your menu, your programme and your customers, and owes you a royalty with a monthly statement.

Your brand has two kinds of location. A «branch» is yours to run: its money, books and staff are yours. A «franchise location» is run by a franchisee under an agreement with you: it sells your menu at your prices, serves your programme's customers on the same card, its customers' online payments go to its own account, and its invoices carry its own company and VAT number. You get the royalty.

All of it is in one section, «الفروع والامتياز» (Branches & franchises): «الفروع» (Branches), «الامتياز» (Franchises) and «التسويات» (Settlements). On the web it is in the rail, and in Aloke Owners under «كل الأقسام».

  1. In the Aloke Owners app, open «Branches & franchises» from «Every section» on the home screen, then «Franchises». (iPhone and iPad, Android)
  2. On the web: «الفروع والامتياز» in the rail, then «أصحاب الامتياز» (Franchisees). (Web)
  3. Press «ادعُ صاحب امتياز». Or open one of your branches and press «حوّله إلى امتياز» (make it a franchise).
  4. Choose «الموقع» (the location): one of your branches, or «موقع آخر» (another location) with its «معرّف الموقع في قوقل» (Google place id). Then «جوال صاحب الامتياز» (the franchisee's mobile) and «اسمه» (their name).
  5. Write the terms:
Royalty on net sales (%)
A share of the location's net sales without VAT.
Marketing fee (%)
A second share of the same net for the marketing fund, optional.
Fixed monthly fee (SAR)
An amount every month, optional. In a month the agreement did not run in full, it counts by its days.
Who pays Aloke for this location
«أنا، صاحب العلامة» (me, the brand owner) or «صاحب الامتياز» (the franchisee). Whoever you pick gets the renewal pay link.
  1. Press «أرسل الدعوة». They get a text, the invitation shows the moment they sign in to Aloke with that number, and they accept or decline within 14 days.

Once they accept, they run the location. They file their legal details, Aloke reviews them with their company's papers, and once verified customers' online payments open to their account. Until then the location takes no online payment at all, and never on your account.

Monthly statement
For each month: register sales without VAT, online orders with no register invoice, the base, the royalty, marketing and monthly fee, and what is owed to you. On the web you can download it as CSV.
Edit the terms
Changes the shares, the fee and the payer for the months ahead.
End the franchise
You choose: «يعود فرعًا لي» (it comes back as my branch) or «يحتفظ به صاحب الامتياز خارج علامتي» (the franchisee keeps it outside my brand).

You can also read a franchise location's «تقارير الكاشير» (register reports): pick the location from your list of locations and its reports open to you, read only. Selling, settings, staff and the books are the franchisee's.
