Cashback

A shop with hundreds of items has no single prize that suits everyone. Here the riyal is the prize everyone understands: cashback returns a balance spent with you.

Grocery

Margins are thin, so keep it at 1% to 2%. Visits are frequent, so the balance still builds quickly.

Perfume, clothes, accessories

Wider margins and occasional visits: 5% to 10% gives a clear reason to return.

1. «Smallest balance that can be spent»: 10 riyals, say, so two riyals are not spent on every bill.
2. «Most of a bill payable by cashback»: 50%, so every bill brings in some new money.
3. «Cashback expiry»: 180 to 365 days. The soonest to expire is spent first.
