For restaurants

Usually points, when cashback fits better, and the setup we suggest.

Points

A restaurant's bills vary: one person at 40, a family at 300. With stamps, the 40 riyal diner earns the same as the 300 riyal family, which upsets your best customers. Points fix that: every riyal counts.

  1. «Points per riyal»: 1. The simplest number a customer understands: one riyal, one point.
  2. Put the first prize at about twice your average bill. With a 90 riyal average: a dessert or starter at 180 points, a main at 450, and a meal for two at 900.
  3. Make the prize a well loved side (a dessert, a starter, a drink), not money off the bill. It costs you little and feels big to the customer.
  4. A «birthday gift» in points that covers the dessert prize, and the occasion brings the whole family.
When is cashback better?
When your restaurant is upmarket with big bills and no single prize pleases everyone, or most guests come once a month. Then 3% to 5% cashback gives a clear reason to return.
